Hello! Call me Jill. I have an MLIS from the University of South Carolina and I like practical fashion. It is important to me to dress appropriately for each situation, but to also highlight parts of my personality through my dress. Job interviews are stressful events. Deciding what to wear is even harder.
Do I have to wear a suit when it’s 90 degrees Fahrenheit out?
Will I be unprofessional if I wear a knit blouse instead of a button-up?
Heels and ballet flats hurt my feet, can I wear Mary Janes?
I’m uncomfortable in dresses, what else can I wear if a suit is unnecessary?
If I have these questions, then someone else probably does, too. Therefore, I started Librarian Hire Fashion in the hope that together we can provide support and help each other feel a little more confident when entering a job interview.
