I just ran an internet search to find out how to dress for a summer interview. There was very little specifically for summer, the same as last time I searched. What I did find, can be summed up as “wear a suit, except for when you don’t have to.”
Even less results had pictures. There was one picture of a woman in a long-sleeved dress. I can’t imagine ever being comfortable in 90 degree heat wearing a long-sleeved anything, although I suppose one layer is better than two (shirt, blazer). But what happens if I’m uncomfortable in skirts? And what about the men? Do they have to suffer through three layers (undershirt, dress shirt, blazer)?
Yep, we definitely need some pictures from people who interviewed in the summer and then were offered the job. Remember, you don’t have to take a picture of yourself, even a drawing of what you wore will be helpful. Thank you for contributing!
