When I interviewed, I had my natural (lighter brown) hair color. I also wore my upper ear stud, which is mostly covered by my hair, but I have a tendency to tuck my hair behind my ears when I’m concentrating.
Because I had a four-hour drive, I waited until I got into town to do my make-up, then used the car mirror. The day started with rain, then got sunny. It was around 60-degrees Fahrenheit by my interview time.
Small town public library
Virginia
Library has less than 10 employees
Wore watch, necklace, drop earrings, and upper-ear stud
Wore purple and pink eye shadow (created the effect of a neutral, but more flattering), mascara, blush, and low-shine lip gloss
Carried a medium-large black purse with silver studs/large hardware
Employees wear dress slacks, knit shirt, and some kind of “jacket” (e.g. over shirt, cardigan, casual jacket)
